Ground Is Moving!

Praise God, the ground at 7705 Indianola Ave. is moving! The small pond is in the process of being filled in and the dirt is being moved from one side to another as well as from the back to the front. Tomorrow the storm sewer pipe will be lowered into the ground. How exciting to see the ground beginning to take shape. Take a look at the recently added photos.

7705 Indianola Ave.

By the way the title is the address of the new church site! The land looks so much different with all of the trees gone and the fence removed. It is much easier now to visualize the church building without all of the stuff in the way. We will close the loan tomorrow morning and Sandstone Management will back on the land in the near future to construct a temporary driveway called a scrub mat. It is designed for the trucks to wipe their tires off on when they exit the land (kind of like a mat in front of a door). Then they will begin the storm sewer and continue to proceed as the weather permits. These are exciting days and we should continue to see changes taken place at 7705 Indianola Ave! Keep Praying....

Friday, Sept. 14

This past week the site plan was revised and resubmitted and should only take a couple of days to get that back. Also, the DNR permit was filed and as soon as that is approved dirt work can begin. In the meantime the dirt contractor is being selected through a bidding process, so when we have approval, mountains will move! Keep praying for the timing of permits and for wisdom in selecting various contractors. Watch for falling rocks, as God moves mountains before our very eyes!

August 31, 2007

We have received the appraisal, it came in at 1,820,000. Praise God! The abstract is in the mail as I write this. The site plan is nearing approval by the day. It won't be long now and you will drive by the property and see ground being moved around, getting ready for the building to be erected. These are exciting days at LCC!
